Italy: A New Collective Landscape

Sometimes it is difficult to think of ourselves as part of a whole. Logic often forces us to distinguish between different events, people, and ideas, feeding us with a series of separations, of before & after, of inside out. This act, often linguistic, leads us to feel distant even from those who inhabit our own discipline, or worse, our own planet. How then can we portrait a landscape without the use of words, without all those categories trying to frame it?

The sound installation, born from the contributions of several participants in the exhibition, presents, through a chorus of voices and sounds, an evocative image of the practice of the designer. By assembling the different contributions and forming a soundscape, it seeks to accompany visitors on a journey marked by imagination and devoid of categorisation, allowing the environments and visions that designers inhabit and nurture to hybridize together; to remind us that we are part of the same landscape.
